Health Protection
To protect the health of all participants, we have developed a well thought-out “black-grey-white” concept. In our video about the process, the concept becomes structurally visible.
Firefighters are exposed to health risks. Frequent contact with harmful substances puts a strain on the body over the long term. The fact that our system is gas-powered significantly reduces this burden. To ensure that no contaminated clothing is taken “home” after use, we have divided our work areas into 3 zones. Before the start of the practical exercises, white clothing – i.e., clean clothing – is stowed away. After the end of the exercise, the practical participants take off the contaminated black clothing and drive to our clean and bright washrooms in their gray clothing – the white area, where they can clean themselves thoroughly and thus end the practical part in their white clothing.
